The Media and Digital Media Unit, which is considered one of the essential pillars in supporting academic and administrative work within the faculty, through the use of visual communication methods and modern digital technologies, contributes to strengthening the institution's image, documenting its achievements, and effectively interacting with the internal and external community.
We at the Media Unit believe in the importance of media content as a tool for delivering knowledge, conveying institutional messages, and enhancing the visual identity. From this standpoint, we are keen on providing professional media content that reflects the quality of academic and creative work, and supports the digital transformation in education, documentation, and communication.
We also work as a team, in collaboration with all departments and administrations, to document events, design media campaigns, and manage the institution's digital channels, highlighting excellence and professionalism.

Vision and mission

The unit’s vision:

The Media and Digital Media Unit at the Faculty of Art Education seeks to be a leading center in the production and development of visual and digital media content, supporting and keeping pace with contemporary technological advancements, thereby contributing to the enhancement of the institutional identity and showcasing the achievements of the Faculty of Art Education both locally and internationally. Training and developing the skills of faculty members, teaching assistants, graduates, and students in the field of graphic programs in accordance with the requirements of the job market and technological advancements.

The unit’s mission:

Continuous training that aligns with technological advancements in the field of digital media. The Media and Digital Media Unit is committed to providing media services that support academic, research, and cultural events through the production of outstanding digital content, documentation of events, and management of the official media channels of the Faculty of Art Education.











The Unit’s Objectives

  • Providing students with new experiences to express themselves using the language of media, as the world of media has become exciting and engaging due to the new aesthetic dimensions it adds to artistic works through courses and workshops.
  • The Media Unit aims to train students through workshops and training courses to open new fields in the job market.
  • Covering the faculty's events and activities, including its conferences, and producing documentary films about the faculty.
  • Training students from outside the faculty in courses related to graphic programs, photography, editing, and short film production.

The Unit’s Objectives

  • The unit offers continuous training: which aligns with technological advancements in the field of computers through a series of courses and workshops, including graphic design, interior design, editing, short film production, and photography.
  • Designing and producing media content: We produce and design everything that visually supports the faculty's vision, from posters and infographics to presentations and promotional and documentary videos.
  • Media documentation of events: We ensure to document every event or activity within the faculty with audio and video, whether it is a conference, workshop, art exhibition, or scientific seminar, to create a visual and digital archive.
  • Organizing workshops and training courses: We offer specialized workshops and courses in areas such as graphic design, photography, editing, and content creation, aimed at students and faculty, to develop media skills in a practical and professional manner.
  • Cooperation with various units: We contribute to preparing media materials that support their messages and showcase their achievements with the highest quality.
