The Faculty of Art Education, through the technological development team at the faculty, which was trained and qualified to carry out the digital transformation and technological development at the university, held workshops for faculty members and the supporting staff in the scientific departments over the course of two weeks to train them on making educational content available electronically.

The Technical Development Department at the Faculty of Art Education – Helwan University aims to support the digital transformation journey within the faculty by providing a modern educational environment that keeps pace with contemporary developments, and by successfully using technology in the educational, research, and administrative processes. This contributes to enhancing the quality of institutional performance and supports the faculty's vision of artistic and educational excellence at both the local and international levels.

• Supporting the digital transformation within the faculty in line with Helwan University's strategy and Egypt's sustainable development plans.
• Developing the faculty's technological infrastructure and updating the digital systems used in education and administration.
• Qualifying and training faculty members, teaching assistants, and students to use digital education tools and electronic platforms efficiently and effectively.
• Supporting the production and development of electronic courses and enhancing the use of distance learning and blended learning systems.
• Providing technical support services and technical consultations to the faculty's various departments and centers.
• Participating in the development of electronic administrative systems to facilitate procedures and improve the quality of services provided.

The activities of the Technology Development Unit at the Faculty of Art Education focus on digital transformation in higher education, through holding seminars and organizing workshops for introduction and training in the following areas:

• Interactive education through e-learning platforms
• Training faculty members and staff.
• Monitoring the implementation of regulations inside and outside the faculty.
• Following up on student complaints.
