A statement by the faculty's Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development
The role of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector is a bridge of communication between the Faculty and the community by strengthening relationships with various institutions and sectors, both within and outside the Faculty. This is achieved through organizing events and scientific and artistic seminars aimed at raising community awareness, promoting environmental culture, providing scientific and technical consultations, enhancing aesthetic awareness in the external community, and activating the role of specialized units. The sector oversees many units that play a role in meeting the needs and requirements aimed at sustainable development and Egypt's Vision 2030.

Objectives of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector

• Supporting sustainable development through projects that contribute to environmental preservation and raise environmental awareness.
• Preparing graduates for the job market through specialized training programs and partnerships with various institutions.
• Enhancing collaboration with industrial and commercial sectors to provide innovative design and technological solutions.

Sector's responsibilities and activities

• Implementing training programs and workshops to enhance the skills of students, graduates, and professionals in the field.
• Supervising the units affiliated with the sector, including:
o Graduate Follow-up Unit
o Media Unit
o Public Service Unit
o Crisis and Disaster Management Unit
o Faculty Museum
• Organizing art and technical exhibitions to showcase the creations of students and graduates and enhance communication with the industrial community.
• Organizing specialized seminars and workshops in the fields of design and applied arts.
• Implementation of practical training programs to prepare students and graduates for the job market.
