The field of printing is one of the areas within the Department of Art Education and Folk Heritage that relies on experimentation with media and performance methods due to the diversity of traditional and modern techniques, as well as the variety of materials and surfaces resulting from technological advancement. The thoughts of artists and researchers in the field of printing are directed towards innovation and development in light of the changes of the era. Which have effectively influenced the form and content of the print artwork.

The field of printing works on developing and refining individual talents, preparing distinguished academic and artistic cadres capable of innovating in print design and its artistic applications, linking traditional arts with contemporary technologies, and benefiting from them to meet the requirements of sustainable development and effectively contribute to solving environmental issues through creative printing practices.
