Graduate Student Guide
Graduate studies at the Faculty of Art Education began when it was still called the Higher Institute of Art Education. It is considered the first higher institute affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education to start offering graduate studies, specifically from the academic year 1967/1968. After the establishment of Helwan University in 1975, the academic degrees awarded by the faculty were developed, and it began offering several specialized, qualifying, and supplementary diplomas. The first Master's thesis was awarded in 1971, and the first Doctoral thesis in 1975. The graduate studies regulations at the faculty were updated in 2007 to implement the credit hour system.
