Vision of Graduate Studies:
Providing distinguished services to postgraduate students at the Faculty of Art Education to meet global quality standards in all scientific disciplines, fulfilling the requirements of the local, regional, and international job markets, and actively participating in community service.
Postgraduate Mission:
Preparing distinguished scholars capable of advancing scientific research in the field of art education, meeting labor market needs, and addressing community and environmental issues related to art education in educational and cultural institutions.











Graduate programs

The Faculty of Art Education offers a variety of graduate programs in specialized fields within the academic departments.

The Faculty offers 28 master's programs and 28 doctoral programs in the philosophy of art education according to the Faculty's specific specializations in the departments of art education and art appreciation, in addition to 2 diplomas for the Faculty's graduates in its two departments, a qualifying diploma for graduates of fine arts and applied arts Faculty, and a supplementary diploma for graduates of the Faculty of Specific Education, Department of Art Education.
The programs contribute to achieving the Faculty's mission, which includes preparing distinguished researchers capable of innovation and competition in the job market, and participating in the development of society and the environment in the fields of educational and cultural art.

• Three-dimensional expression (ceramics and sculpture).
• Artistic works and folk heritage (metalwork - woodworking - textile work - artistic works - textile printing)
• Arts Education Sciences (Curricula and Methods of Teaching Arts Education – Psychology in Arts Education – Foundations of Arts Education – Technology in Arts Education).
• Art criticism and appreciation.

• Postgraduate Diploma in Art Education.

• Preparatory Diploma in Art Education.
• The supplementary diploma in Art Education education.

The faculty takes a series of measures to survey the job market, including tracking graduates in the job market and communicating with a group of stakeholders related to the nature and field of the Faculty with the aim of developing postgraduate programs. These measures are carried out in the form of surveys or personal interviews. Based on these results, three special diploma programs were introduced in accordance with the needs of the job market and community requirements, and to create job opportunities for graduates, whether from the Faculty or other Facultys, according to the conditions and nature of each program. They are as follows:
• Diploma in Art Therapy.
• Diploma in Art Education in English.
• Painting Studio Diploma in English has been approved, and work is underway to implement it.
• A diploma in Arts and Cultural Management was introduced in 2025.
• The Professional Qualification Diploma in the Field of Art Education and Cultural Education was introduced in 2025.
