The study period is five years, during which two academic programs are offered:

1. Program One: Art Education Program

2. Program Two: Art Culture Program

The faculty has introduced the "Art Education Division" to prepare professionally qualified programs in various sectors of society and its informal institutions, working to spread artistic, visual, and aesthetic culture.

  • The faculty has adopted the National Academic Reference Standards for the Art Education Sector, issued by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation, first edition, April 2019, and approved by the faculty council. Specifications associated with each specialization were established for both the art education and art education programs.
  • The faculty of Art Education's academic standards are aligned with its mission and objectives, and matrices have been developed to measure the extent to which the standards align with the mission, objectives, outcomes, and graduate specifications.
  • To find out what the job market needs and how well the educational programs meet those needs, the faculty uses a questionnaire for people who benefit from their services and another one to gather feedback from both regular and non-regular institutions about how well trainee and graduate students perform. Analyzing surveys conducted, a consolidated report is compiled and approved by the relevant councils to take improvement measures.
  • Questionnaires are administered by the faculty's Measurement and Evaluation Committee to ensure that the program meets graduate specifications and program outcomes. This is done by communicating with the directors of educational and pedagogical institutions for the Art Education Program and with those in charge of cultural centers, some clubs, and hospitals for the Art Education Division. The evaluation is conducted during the period of field training for final-year students each year.
  • Questionnaires are administered to ensure that the program meets the program outcomes by applying them to final-year students in both the art education and art education programs.
